No Commitment finally commits to break through for maiden win

Jan 05, 2017

3yo chestnut gelding No Commitment has come back this prep with the addition of blinkers and a better attitude to break his maiden at his third start over 1400m at Werribee. Well guided by senior jockey Jamie Mott, he was able to settle at the rear before Jamie got him moving on the turn, peeling to the outside and running down the leader to win going away by almost a length. Col said in the interview the gelding still lacks mental maturity but thinks he will get out to 2000m in the future. Congratulations to connections, as some of them also have an interest in Domino Vitale whom won at Flemington last Saturday, they have had a very fruitful week.
