Lord Lodge runners on FIRE!!

Jul 18, 2013

Phantom Brew made it  3 winners from the last 4 starters for Lord Lodge in winning the Showcase Handicap at Werribee on July 17.  In only his second start from a long spell and being wide for most of the race he got to the front rounding the turn and led by a few lengths halfway down the straight. Then under strong riding by the inform Brad Rawiler he doggedly fought off the second placegetter to claim his third career victory.

With the promising God's Own filly Beira winning the day before at Geelong, after returning from a break when she had been hit by a flying shoe at her last start and the very talented Hard Spun filly Text'N Hurley impressively breaking her maiden status in winning by more than four lengths, it looks like Lord Lodge runners are really firing. Watch out for all 3 plus Lord Lodge's other runners coming back from their spells to keep Colin Little Racing in the winners stall over the next few months.

Thanks go the the staff at Lord Lodge who have kept the horses in terrific form whilst Colin has been overseas.
