Soosa Rama makes it two wins from two starts

Jan 31, 2014

Soosa Rama made her winning debut 12 days ago at Cranbourne, then stepped up to the city at Moonee Valley for another win. Again she raced wide but in this case it was in her favour thus missing interference as one of the leading horses lost her jockey. Starting an easing favorite she came wide on the turn and went down the straight head to head with the runner up. Showing great determination under strong riding by Mark Zahra she got home by a head. Colin will see how she pulls up after this win before deciding what she does next. Our thoughts are with young apprentice Jye McNeil whom had a nasty fall in the race.
