Millau wins at Sale at good odds for his owners

Nov 26, 2015

Millau headed to Sale today and ridden confidently by Andrew Mallyon was a winner by the barest of margins. Those lucky to have backed him on the tote were paid handsomely collecting $36.90 for the win. Obviously the blinkers going back on made a huge difference as that was his second win in five starts and both have been at Sale over 1400m. As Colin has been ill for the past few weeks, assistant trainer Matt Lindsay has the team ticking over nicely with three wins from the past five starters for Lord Lodge. He said that Millau is a horse looking for longer distance races and had been freshened up with some sharp gallops since its last start. His owners have been patient as he has only had the five starts for a 4yo so hopefully they backed him at the good odds and can look forward to more wins in the future
